  • DREW's SENIOR PICs

Drew, Steve (his dad), Belle (his/our dog, who was only in the way) and I spent 2 hours at Greenfield Park taking pictures.  Steve was my personal assistant.  LOL!

Of course, "The Suit" look, with a crooked tie that I didn't notice until I got home.  LOL!

This was just a cool shot.  For those of you who remember him playing Peter in "The Lion, The Witch, The Wardrobe", here he is by the "LAMPOST", stepping into Narnia.   :)

My "Personal Assistant."  What a guy.  He patiently carried the changes of clothing, followed us all over, and took care of Belle.  Now that's sexy!  LOL!

Tired and ready to go home.  LOL!

Hope you enjoyed the pics!  :)

  • Still Here!

Things have been busy.  That is the story of my life.

I had been having some medical issues.  I have hypothyroid, and my levels got all messed up in just a matter of 6 months.  My meds have been increased and things seem to be much better with that.

Steve and I took an early anniversary trip to OC MD for a few days in October.

It was a much needed time away.  The weather was perfect.  Once we got home, Steve built a basement apartment downstairs for Nicole.  She now has her own apartment.

It isn't quite finished, but it is getting there.  All four of us went to the Fulton to see Sherlock Holmes.  We were able to get orchestra seats.  Pretty cool!  We took a day trip to Cowan's Gap and got lots of pictures.

I have been having problems with my leg.  I thought it might be a blood clot.  I had an arterial doppler ultra sound done and the ruled out a blood clot.  This is good news, but I still don't know what is wrong with my leg.

A dear friend/past client, passed away on Friday.  I went to the funeral this morning.  What was so sad, it that she didn't know the Lord.

Steve is going to the cabin with his dad and a friend from church to hunt this weekend.  I have volunteered to help with the congregational meal for our congregational meeting on Sunday.

The homeschool co-op that I used to be involved with is having their drama performance on the 16th.  I can't wait to see it.  I have mixed feelings about going, because I really missed it this year.

Only 14 more days til my birthday.  I will be 38!  Yes, I will also be a Turkey since my birthday falls on Thanksgiving this year.  I also have to work that day, so we will be having Thanksgiving Dinner at our house with extended family on Saturday the 24th.

I already know what I am getting for my birthday, since I ordered it today.  LOL!  Steve wanted to make sure the size was right, so he had me order it.  I let you know what it is when I officially get it.  LOL!

Well, I need to leave for work soon.  Tah, tah!

  • It has been a long time since I have updated.

Things have been busy, to say the least.

I went back to work at the end of April, working 3rd shift, four days a week.  I love it, but it doesn't allow a lot of time to be on the computer.  Nicole is working with me two of those days.  As of the beginning of September, she is full-time.  She enjoys it a lot and it is fun to work with her.  You learn a lot about your children when you work with them.

Drew came home from camp at the end of August.  Dara came to visit for about a week.  She got to be here to celebrate Drew's 17 birthday.

Drew started classes at HACC and LBC.  While Dara was here, she sat in on a couple of his classes.

Since Drew is doing all college classes, Steve and I have turned the "schoolroom" into our office.  We each got a nice corner desk with lots of shelves and drawers.

    DSCF1257

    Pretty nice!

Steve got a new motorcycle since I last updated.  We went on an overnight ride.  For those who know me, know it was a big step for me.  I had to pack everything in a saddle bag.  LOL!  I managed, and we had a great time.

     DSCF1262

I am thinking about getting my own motorcycle, but that won't be for at least another year.  I am borrowing a Hondamatic from a friend to see if I can handle riding myself.  If I love it, I will go get my motorcycle permit.

Steve took his mom on a motorcycle ride.
